21 Mac 2007: HYFC Vs Kroniz FC. First game after the last one against TAIB. Prepared for 2 weeks to get players, padang and referee and finally the time has come. HYFC started the game assuringly and got their reward from Zaim, Azri and Uncle Kungu. Uncle showed glimpses of his old mastery in producing something of out nothing with a mercurial strike. First half 3-0. Second half resumed, players played a more relaxed mood with good movement and passes. Goals from Boy Panjang and Tomo proved HYFC dominance and then...Game Over, another convincing win.
Players: Keeper Pjan, RB Mengz, Kiman, CB Azri and Abang, LB Tomo and Arif, RM Boy, CM Uncle Kungu, Yamin and Cjan, LM Prap, Forwards Zaim and Boy Panjang.
Analysis: Good play, moderately ruthless in attacks, midfield strong, good interplay and possession, good defense, overall good.
25 Mac 2007: HYFC Vs Ikan Pusu. Short notice game with only two days to prepare. Players were still nursing knocks and exhaustion but showed willingness to play. Pusu, a renowned youth team under18s started their best 11 against HYFC. Fast plays, aggressive, pacy and supreme fitness level from Pusu exhaust HYFC players but were still able to hold 0-3 at half time. 2nd half displays were more unconvincing from HYFC. Lost out 0-7/8, first lost after nearly 2 years.
Players: Keeper Kawan C-boy, LB Mengz, CB Azri and Abang, RB Arip, Midfield Boy, Uncle Kungu, Kawan Cboy, Prap, Yamin Forwards Zaim and Boy Panjang.
Analysis: Good workout, would fare better if more fitter, Arip and Kiman too nervous resulting a lot of attacks from right and left, forwards too much playing mind games than concentrate on play, less aggressive, midfield and defense can do a lot more, all can play better if more rest and giving too much respect to opponent. But HYFC gave their best and overall was good play, hip hip hurray! For a team that does not train, does not have a coach, does not have financial strength and only play to individual strength, HYFC deserves respect from more organized team like maybe....u know who.
