HYFC Vs BRO81

12 Aug 2006, 0800 PM - Game started at a frentic pace. First 10-15 mins was dominantly controlled by HYFC, chances 6-7, non were converted. Non-availability of key players, notably in the central midfield department made HYFC defences open to attacks. Later, the arrival of Uncle 'Kungu' finally shored up the leaky midfield. First 2 goals by HYFC unnerved the latter team composure. Substitutions made in the first half didn't help HYFC and showed when they surrendered 2 easy goals.

2nd half - HYFC started brightly and scored through its unlikely hero, Kiman. Bro 81 tried to keep HYFC at bay but soon found it hard to contain its livewire players, namely, Eyan, Boy panjang, Mirul. Midfeild was superb and did a flawless job. Soon it was 6-2, the exit of senior players to give the juniors exposure to 'real' football games soon caused a minor dissaray. Bro 81 got a goal and soon the game drifted towards the lower half of HYFC territories. With the gift of pace and power, Azri made sure HYFC defences in check with Bro 81 late surge. Final whistle blown, another HYFC routine win, 6-3, hiphip hurray!
